Disclaimer / Terms of Participation – Resolance
Last updated-March 2026
1. Nature of Resolance
Resolance is a peer-led men’s mental health community. It is designed to provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space where men can talk, listen, or simply be present.
Important: Resolance is not a professional therapy service, counselling service, or medical provider. Facilitators are peers, not licensed mental health professionals. The group offers support, conversation, and community connection only.
2. No Professional Advice
All discussions, advice, or guidance shared within Resolance sessions, online platforms, or social media are informal and peer-led. Resolance and its facilitators do not provide medical, therapeutic, or legal advice.
- Any information provided should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional advice.
- Participants are encouraged to seek licensed mental health professionals, general practitioners, or emergency services if needed.
3. Participation Is Voluntary
- Attending Resolance sessions or engaging online is completely voluntary.
- Participants may speak, listen, or observe as they wish.
- You can leave a session at any time without consequence.
4. Confidentiality
- Sessions are intended to be private and respectful.
- What is shared within the group should not be shared outside, unless there is a safety concern.
- Facilitators reserve the right to take necessary action if someone is at risk of harm to themselves or others.
5. Safety & Duty of Care
While Resolance aims to provide a safe space, participants attend at their own risk.
- Facilitators cannot guarantee your safety or prevent all harm.
- In emergencies, participants should contact appropriate professional services immediately (e.g., Samaritans 116 123, NHS 111, or emergency services 999).
6. Online Platforms & Social Media
- Resolance may share updates, events, and resources via Instagram, email, or website.
- Content shared online is intended for general informational purposes only.
- Resolance is not responsible for content posted by participants or interactions outside official channels.
7. Data & Privacy
- Any information provided through booking forms, emails, or other communication channels will be used only to manage sessions and communications.
- Resolance will not sell or share personal data with third parties.
8. Limitation of Liability
- By participating, you agree that Resolance and its facilitators are not liable for any personal, emotional, or psychological outcomes.
- Participants accept full responsibility for their own participation.
